JOHREJ Chocolates is a three generation, family owned business that began in Mexico City. There are two stores in Mexico City and one in San Miguel de Allende.
It is a dangerous thing to have these mouth watering, truly decadent truffles only two blocks from my house and right on the way to the jardin, the main plaza.
They will package the truffles in these pretty tin boxes that are made locally. It makes a great gift, that is if you can resist the temptation not to dig into that box yourself.
There are numerous kinds of truffles and chocolate discs to make hot chocolate. They also sell coffee, hot chocolate and ice cream.
The irresistible aroma that fills the air when walking by makes it almost impossible not to go in and sample a few truffles.
